We are really looking forward to get their debut album out (early March, 2018). It will be an EP consisting of four fiercesome tracks that will get your head banging! And that’s a promise!
Firstly, a single will be released December 1. A track titled, FYCC … Be ready!
There will be two releases coming from Rob Mules Records Nov 10.
Razorbats is set to release a track called, ‘Social Rejects’ from their forthcoming album ‘II’ that is due in February 2018. On the other hand Adjentist will unleash a heavy hitter titled, ‘Within’. It will be included on their new album, ‘Disintigrate’ (out Dec 15).
The roster of Rob Mules Records is beginning to look pretty awesome. We are proud to announce Veislakt to our tattooed and bearded heavy metal family!
Veislakt is an energic and hard-hitting ‘Jærcore’ band that plays a hybrid of punk and hard rock in their local ‘Jær’-dialect, with a predilection for double pedals. Veislakt started as a one-man project by vocalist and guitarist René Undem in 2013, and released the ‘Hommersand EP’ in March 2014. The EP received positive reviews and aired on the Norwegian radio channel P3, where it topped the Urørt music chart for independent and unsigned artists and remained in the top 3 over several weeks.
Music journalist Asbjørn Slettemark said at the time: “It makes me wish I was 15 again and about to do something illegal my parents didn’t know about.”
A hard working band, never staying idle, they released their first full-length album ‘Litium Og Aent Smågodt’ May 11, 2015. This also receive many positive reviews and more radio time on P3 and P13. In 2016 Veislakt released ‘Fumar Mata’. ‘Nav’, released June 3 was the single of the week in Stavanger Aftenblad, with a review score of 5/6. ‘Hjertebarn’, released August 26 received radio time on P3. ‘Fumar Mata’ (album) was released on CD, cassette, vinyl and digitally in November 2016.
Norway’s Razorbats got international attention when they released their debut album Camp Rock in 2015 and critics from all over Europe, Australia and the US praised their unique ability to blend classic rock, powerpop and punk in a new and exiting way.
The lead single ‘Kids of the 70s’ got a lot of airplay on rock radio across Europe and college radio in the US, in addition to national radio back home. The band shared the stage with bands like Rise Agains, CJ Ramone, The Dogs and The Dandy Warhols before they embarked on their first UK and Scandinavian tour. Camp Rock was named album of the year by Glitter 2 Gutter in the US and featured on several best-of lists for 2015 all over the world.
Rob Mules Records is really excited to work with Razorbats on what is initially planned to be one album and two single releases. Check out their music at Spotify. This is strong original material with a resemblance to classic hard rock of Cheap Trick, Kiss and Alice Cooper. Throw in Turbonegro for good measures!
Ohmwork is set to release ‘Requiem of the Fallen’ September 15. It will be released on all digital stores through Rob Mules Records.
The track is from the forthcoming album, ‘Alyssa Drone’ that will be released October 20 (2LP, CD and digitally).
The third release by Ohmwork is a concept album. The single is a shorter edited version of the original track from the album. ‘Requiem of the Fallen’ is maybe not representative of the sound of the album, but nonetheless a beautiful and kind of cool track showing Ohmwork from a more softer side.
The cover art is made by Maik Beiersdorf. More of his work here.
