Razorbats signed on Rob Mules Records!

Norway’s Razorbats got international attention when they released their debut album Camp Rock in 2015 and critics from all over Europe, Australia and the US praised their unique ability to blend classic rock, powerpop and punk in a new and exiting way.

The lead single ‘Kids of the 70s’ got a lot of airplay on rock radio across Europe and college radio in the US, in addition to national radio back home. The band shared the stage with bands like Rise Agains, CJ Ramone, The Dogs and The Dandy Warhols before they embarked on their first UK and Scandinavian tour. Camp Rock was named album of the year by Glitter 2 Gutter in the US and featured on several best-of lists for 2015 all over the world.

Rob Mules Records is really excited to work with Razorbats on what is initially planned to be one album and two single releases. Check out their music at Spotify. This is strong original material with a resemblance to classic hard rock of Cheap Trick, Kiss and Alice Cooper. Throw in Turbonegro for good measures!

Ohmwork releases single!

Ohmwork is set to release ‘Requiem of the Fallen’ September 15. It will be released on all digital stores through Rob Mules Records.

The track is from the forthcoming album, ‘Alyssa Drone’ that will be released October 20 (2LP, CD and digitally).

The third release by Ohmwork is a concept album. The single is a shorter edited version of the original track from the album. ‘Requiem of the Fallen’ is maybe not representative of the sound of the album, but nonetheless a beautiful and kind of cool track showing Ohmwork from a more softer side.

Welcome Adjentist to our roster!

Rob Mules Records gives you Adjentist! The band was formed in 2012. Since their release of ‘Riven Liaison EP’ (2014) they’ve been working hard on their second full length album, ‘Disintegrate’. With this album Adjentist has taken their music to a whole new level. ‘  Disintegrate’ will be released through Rob Mules Records in December  2017.

In Adjentist you’ll get melodic choruses,  ambience  that creates a unique atmosphere, blended with the dark riffs which is the foundation that everything is built upon. They are different, and they are heavy as fuck!

Their energic, charismatic and bone-crushing live show is like a well-oiled machine that leaves the audiences in pieces. The show is extremely tight and nothing short of brutal. Nobody leaves an Adjentist show disappointed.

Band presentation – Phandrom

Phandrom will release their much anticipated debut album on Rob Mules Records. The album has been in the making (on and off) for three years. Finally things are beginning to shape up for the foursome in Phandrom. The release is due for 2018.

Phandrom is a classic rock outfit bearing resemblance to early Rainbow and Uriah Heep, but first and foremost they write strong original material holding its own. The band consists of four highly talented musicians, giving their all to make this release a must for all lovers of classic hard rock music.

Hellflower onboard!

Hellflower is a band of four extremely talented individuals. They emerged in late 2014. A band of young men, but their songwriting are well rounded and mature. Hellflower plays metal with numerous elements from other genres, making for a different and interesting musical experience.

Over the last year, Hellflower has been working on what will be their first release, a four song EP that will be released through Rob Mules Records in November 2017.

Tonewielder signed!

Solo artist, Christian Magnus Fladeby aka Tonewielder has signed a deal for Rob Mules Records.

Tonewielder is a one-man show, literally speaking – a multi-instrumentalist. Christian has written, recorded and mixed his debut album all by himself, let alone played all instruments! The outcome is a rock solid debut album called ‘Peaks & Plateaus’ – mixing genres like metal, shoegaze and alternative rock.

‘Peaks & Plateaus’ was released through Distrokid 1th of June. Rob Mules Records will help out with the promotional side of things.

Endolith on Rob Mules Records!

These creative, eclectic and extreme metallers from Tromso/Harstad are onboard for a future release through our label.

We didn’t know much of them before they came to our attention a month ago. It took us no time to decide that this trio were more than welcome to join our roster. You can check out the links at the bottom of this article, and we’re pretty sure you’ll be amazed.

Endolith are for the time being working on their follow-up to ‘Voyager’ (released December 2016). Rob Mules Records have had the pleasure of listening to their new stuff, and let it be perfectly clear; the music sounds even more extreme than the predecessor – in all possible ways!

Say hello to Tonic Breed!

We welcome Tonic Breed from Sarpsborg (Norway) to our label, a trash metal band in the veins of great acts like Slayer, Metallica and Pantera.

Tonic Breed will release their next album through Rob Mules Records. The time for release has not been set, but we will of course come back with more info when we have a clearer idea.

The band was founded in 2006 and has produced two studio albums and four music videos. ‘Outsold’ (released 2014) was well received by national and international album critics. Asbjørn Slettemark (P3 Pyro) credited Tonic Breed as one of the most promising bands in Norway that same year.

The quartet is now ready to up their game, and Rob Mules Records are more than happy to help this brilliant band reach greater heights.

Band presentation – Ohmwork

Next up are Ohmwork, a power trio from Tromso/Norway.

Ohmwork have two albums, one EP and three single releases to their name. Both albums got the critics raving about an extremely tight band with the ability to tackle classic rock, progressive metal and pretty much all that is in-between.

Ohmwork were established in 2012, and held their first concert in early 2013. One year after in February 2014 they released their debut album, ‘Storm Season’. In 2015 ‘ShadowTech’ came out, and a year later ‘Mother City (EP)’ was released. This was a month before they played a blistering set at Buktafestivalen. Ohmwork have toured the Norwegian rock circuit the past five years, including support slots for Jorn.

Ohmwork will release their third album in October this year. A double concept album – nothing short of groundbreaking for a Norwegian rock act.
